Hemorrhoids??? Please help?

So about a year ago I had a surgery on my foot, that left me in bed for a good 3 weeks. When I finally got out of my bed I noticed that my butt itched a lot! I kinda ignored it but its lasted over a year and now it almost unbearable. After reading about hemorrhoid im pretty sure thats the problem. I examined and It looks like I have 2,... I v used creams, tucks,suppositories, ect... everything you can get over the counter. I dont like creams or gels because it seems like they never dry...anytime there is any moisture down there i feel this burning itching.... its unbearable sometimes. I eat plenty of fiber, and have a normal stool. Im not sure what to do. I dont want to go to the doctor. I called in seeing if they could just send in a prescription for me, and they want me to come in. What can I do from home?
