Hemorrhoids/Piles ?...?

It doesn't sound 'normal' to still be bleeding from your rectum. If the piles have gone, and the pain and bleeding continue, it needs further investigating. I had what was considered 'gastroenteritis' three years ago, it turned out I have Crohn's disease, an inflammatory bowel condition, that cannot be seen with the naked eye. One of the symptoms is bleeding from the rectum, Ulcerative Colitis, another inflammatory bowel condition is very similar in symptoms. Sometimes doctors get it wrong, they did with me. I think I'd insist on getting referred to a gastroenerologist knowing what I know now, as it's worth getting checked out x
