You should talk to your parents, maybe the principal and other school officials. I'm a girl, and I still say this extremely offensive to both girls and boys, since for boys, like you said it's demeaning and for girls it makes people assume that they are mature and then if they're not then well, they just feel like they are mature who can keep picking on that kid. (Example)
