Do people like this annoy you?

People who complain about how fat they when they're actually thin and know it, or how they can't decide between x number of girls/boys who are after them, etc. False modesty. An acquaintance of mine does this and it unnerves me, because it is so obviously a ploy for sympathy and/or ego stroking.
