Hemorrhoid that bleed?

Ive had a hemorrhoid for the past week but for the past 2 days its started bleeding .. It doesnt Bleed unless I wipe and Ive been doing the whole sit in a hot bath thing and the creams it seems to be shrinking and not hurting as bad as it has . I Can actually go about my day without the pain its just the bleeding that scares me and its not even alot of blood so if its shrinking and seems to be getting better will it stop bleeding when its gone and should I keep doing what ive been doing or is this life threatening ?
