Visit of Kerala for 3 days and 2 nights?

I am visiting Tirupati in the month of October next. After that I intend a tour of Kerala for 3 days and 2 nights. I heard that Kerala is famous for his houseboats so in my visit I will like to see Kumarkom and local attractions as well as Houseboats also. Will some one please plan my journey so that I can see more destinations in short time starting from Tirupati.
